Call for Abstracts

The Organising Committee cordially invites academics, researchers and engineers to submit abstracts for the 18th Universities High Voltage Colloquium.

Colloquium Topics

The colloquium welcomes submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

High Voltage Testing and Measurement

  • High voltage test procedures

  • Measurement systems and sensors

  • Diagnostics and monitoring

 

Insulation Technology 

  • Insulating materials and systems

  • Aging and degradation

  • Breakdown phenomena

Power System Equipment

  • Overhead trasnmission lines and cables

  • Power transformers

  • Switchgear

​​

Emerging Technologies

  • HVDC transmission

  • Battery energy storage

  • Renewable energy integration

Instructions

Abstract format:

  • 1 page A4 summarising the research including a relevant figure

  • Include: background, aim and objectives, methodology, results, conclusions

  • Formatting: use the template available at the link below:

Submissions:

  • The deadline for abstract submissions is the 15th of March 2026

  • Abstracts should be in Microsoft  Word format (.docx)

  • Ensure that the file name is the same as the Title of the Abstract

  • Submit by first clicking the 'Select File' button to select the file and then clicking 'Submit':
